Alive and Kicking
We made it half way... a long flight into Boston, and a little drive into the heart of rural Massachusettes has found me finally feeling halfway human again. The entire journey for me started at 7 am on Saturday morning Germany time, and ending with me crashing into bed sometime after 4 am Germany time over 38 hours later.
Currently, I am enjoying a thing I have not had in YEARS, and I have deseperately missed... Dunkin' Donuts Coffee. My dearest boleved walked down to local fattening shop for us this morning and got a box'o coffee and the accompanying pastry goodies to make breakfast complete. It is gorgeous here- just seeing the sun is a nice and welcome change.

The kids finally fell into bed at 7:30 EST here- after getting roused at 4:20 AM CET... I was surprised they didn't go face first into thier dinner plates, as they had spent the enitire afternoon running off the pent up energy from the plane ride playing ball and learning to play croquet. Yep... that's right... Croquet. They are currently in the kitchen experiencing the joy of "Munchkins" for the first time, and after I have about another half a gallon of this coffee, I may head for the shower.
Tomorrow at butt-ass crack early'o'clock, we will be heading for the airport to fly to California.... Ah the sunny shores of San Diego. Where we will staying for all of 12 hours- then we jump in yet another car to take a 7 hour drive to the blissfully dry and warm deserts of Arizona. I will no doubt lose my mind a little here and there in the process.
So, that's the update so far... See you all in California.

boston,
in boston, our DD's now have something called the turbo. DD takes the transparent concoction they call coffee and throw in a generous shot of espresso.
thank you, b-town, for evolution at its finest.
