Movies when feeling weird....

Not sure if it is the weather changing to cold nights and chilly days or what... but for some reason I want to sleep. Like hibernate. All. The. Time. I can't seem to get warm, and I can't seem to wake up. It's not a depression thing, as my moods is fine. I am just ass dragging tired, and in a way that no coffee in the world could help.

Since the colder shorter days are coming, people seek more entertainment indoors- and I thought I would set forth a list of "Freud's Must See Movies"... as I have never done it before, and other than my usual bitchery- I am without anything to talk about. Please feel free to post if there is something you think I omitted, or a movie I like that you think sucks- so I can tell you you are wrong.

In no particular order- here we go...

~Lady Jane~ Great story, great love story, and based on a real person!

~Dogma~ Excellent- flies in the face of religion, especially "The Church", and what a better time to see Ben Affleck posing with wings?! We love eye candy!

~Excalibur~ Wonderful telling of the Arthurian legend- N. Williams as Merlin is awesome... and proof that Patrick Stewart never had hair.

~The Fast and the Furious~ Have a hard on for muscle cars? If you don't, you will after this flick. Vin Diesel is a shitty actor- but in this movie- he is pretty awesome.

~The Princess Bride~ Best sword fight in any movie. Ever. Oh! And Cary Elwes when he was still British and sexy.

~Real Genius~ Seeing this is a Moral Imperative.

~The Santa Clause~ One of the best Christmas movies ever made- because like it or not "It's a Wonderful Life" SUCKS, and is the bane of Christmas.

~Men in Black~ I have come to pretty much like most Will Smith movies- but this has to be my favorite. It should be yours too.

~Kingpin~ It has it all! Bill Murray as a dirt bag, Woody Harrison as a Pig, and Randy Quaid as an Amish dude. What more could you ask for?

~A League of Their Own~ This one speaks for itself, doesn't it?

Best love scene in any movie? Highlander. Most gorgeous costumes and sets? The King and I- the one with Deborah Kerr made in the 50's. I also have to tell you to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show- but you must see it in the theatre, on a weekend at midnight- and be devirginized by the cast.

What are your favorite movies? Discuss.

I love all your picks. :) Princess Bride is classic, Real Genius is BRILLIANT, A league of their own is one of those movies that it doesn't matter where it's at in the movie, I'll stop and watch!

I would have to add...

The Fifth Element - A little corny, but sweet music and action, and Chris Tucker is friggin Hilarious! And it actually has a story line.

Shag - I love to dance, and this has some sweet dance scenes and a sweet love story, plus it's also super funny!

Pride and Prejudice (A&E version) - I love Colin Firth. That is all.

10 Things I hate about you - It's filmed in Seattle...plus it's back when Heath Ledger was still cute.

Stick It - I know it's a bit of a Teeny movie, but this movie had me in Tears I was laughing so hard. Just try it, you'll like it.

The Italian Job (the one with Mark Wahlberg) - Sweet car chases, a good punch out, money money money, and well...Mark Wahlberg, all I need is a smile out of him. ;)

I think that's it for now...I can't think of anymore without going to my DVD collection, and I'm just too damn lazy right now. =]

Trust me..your hibernation mood is not the first time you have ever felt that way!! I can remember several years ago, while you were in hs, that it practically took an act from congress to get your sweet ass out of the bed. And once up, you were like a gut shot bear! Ah, them memories. It's the weather changes. I think most anyone who lives in a cold climate, goes thru it. I live in Arizona, and my ass can't get warm and won't get warm til summer!

One of best movies.."Yankee Doodle Dandy" the colorized version. "Dances with Wolves" and the "Postman" MMmmmm..that Kevin Costner..yum, yum, yummy!!! DAMN!! He looks so friggin good on a horse!!!

Postman was filmed 10 mins away from where I live...just a little Blog-jacking. :D But I'm sorry Frued's mom...it was a lame movie. ;)

The Princess Bride is a freaking awesome movie.

Labyrinth: "Did you say hello?" "No, I said 'hello.' But that's close enough." David Bowie was my childhood crush, I'll admit it.

Lord of the Rings trilogy: I was dragged to see The Fellowship of the Ring by my dad, and I was hooked. Yes, Viggo is the bomb...
