It's Rare
I know it is incredibly rare that I say anything about politics... as a whole the subject is overdone. Especially now- as with the self centered American Media, no one is talking about anything else. However, there are times when I have to say something, like now.
We have a very interesting group of people running for the office of president, don't we? Now I am not going to get off on some diatribe here, but let me get a few things out.
Senator John McCain is just too fucking old... Beyond the fact that he is going to be as much a war monger as Bush- even if he does carry on about it with a softer voice... But he so OLD. Not that he isn't sharp or on his game- but fuck man, how can someone that old represent ME? He's geriatric. He was alive during WWII! He was a teenager when Einstein was warning about the destructive power of the Nuclear Bomb! Christ on Crutches! He was in the same war as Elvis Presley- you know, when Elvis was young and yummy?
As far as his know how and "experience" I can't say much for how he can manage the infrastructure of our country. Wanna know why? Have you SEEN the fucking roads in Phoenix? I bet Pima Road is STILL under construction. Has been since I was a kid. So has Tatum Blvd where I remember driving past his election signs in high school. It seems that once they finally pull the bulldozers off the north end of the street, they run them right back down to the south end and start digging holes all over again. Now I don't know what that costs- but I'm sure it's an assload. One day, (about 7 year ago) we had driven through the intersection of 75th ave and northern. Huge hole in the middle of the road. A few days later, they were paving it over and it was fixed. We went to Vegas for the weekend and I shit you not, when we came back four days later, that freshly paved intersection had a hole in the middle again. I should like to think it is atypical, but it's not. I wonder how expensive that is... wanna try and imagine that on a national scale on an economy that is already weak?
Senator Clinton... If she cries she is called soft and seen too womanly, the rest of the time she is seen as an ice queen, and a cold hard bitch. If I wanted to be president- I would be a bit of a bitch too... Just as a woman I would have to be rough to live through half of th shit she has, much less her husband splatting spooge on some others woman's dress in his office- which just HAPPENS to be the oval office. Having a vagina and aIl have to commend her on all of her efforts and work. She stood by him, when he fucked up- she was right there, chin up and proud- even though you know she probably wanted to beat the shit out of him. All her work in health care, etc, and her work in the senate- good on her.
Senator Obama... now I don't have much to say about the man. He is highly intelligent and articulate. I don't think he knows shit about how to run a country., and I think if he made it to the white house it is something that would be exploited by governments and our own politicians alike, but that is not to say he wouldn't be able to do a good job.... Just not sure the white house is the best place to do on the job government training. I would like to believe he would stand up for the littleguy, and blah blah blah that he promises- but saying you'll jump the grand canyon, and then actually making the jump once you're on the ramp are two different things.
Not to harp the Obama issue too hard... but I did see something that caught my eye about the double standard and sexism in this country that no one wants to talk about... If a young woman with only two years of experience in the U.S. Senate wanted to run for President... how far would she get? Seriously- let's be pragmatic. A woman in her mid 40's announces her candidacy with only two years in public office, and wants to run the country... diplomacy, military, finances, education... With only two years of public service behind her resume. Does she make it nationally? This is nothing about Senator Clinton being a woman- but more about Barrack being a man. Did his campaign get going more on the novelty of a black man running for office, and then picked up steam? Would it be different for a relatively inexperienced black woman? If Barrack was white, or a woman where would he be, based on his resume only?

Tidbits
~It's PDoc day. Yippee? Have to go in and say "Yes, I am still crazy enough to need meds. No, I am not crazy enough to do anything stupid." I really fucking hate going down there- I wish he was on this base instead of Ram-shaft. He's a great Psychiatrist, and as any bipolar will tell you, it is hard to find good ones who don't over or under diagnose your problem, and bounce you out with a script for Prozac.
~This whole uproar about Iran is pissing me right the fuck off. Now I am not demeaning the Jewish populace's right to hate him or be pissed off.... BUT... To cause all this stink over him visiting here? For one thing- diplomacy is a good thing- even with an asshole. More over, and this is what chaps my ass, he is a politician. A lying, rotten to the core, piece of shit politician who spends his day shoveling bullshit down the throat of his countrymen, while trying to say things they want to hear. Just like our lying, rotten to the core, piece of shit politicians. You have to disbelieve 60% of the shit that rolls out of any politician's mouth, and doubt the other 40%, no matter what language they speak.
~One costume down, another ready to assemble, and two to go... the men's are gonna be a snap- 3 pieces, plus glitz. I will post pics, when I get them all done, and have a free sec to get the camera, import and export photos and update my sewing site.
~I have not been playing much Halo, despite the release of the most awesome Halo 3. My sewing schedule has had much to do with it (About 80%)... but there has also been some behind the scenes "clan drama" that I will not go into until it is resolved one way or another. Not that I am gonna quit the clan- just take a break for a little while- Kinda like Peter Gibbons in Office Space... "I don't like it, and I'm just not gonna go." At least for a week or so, while I sit back and popcorn it through this steaming pile of bullshit drama that I have found myself hip deep in. For those of you that I DO play with on a regular basis- gimmie a call and I will sign on for a closed room, but I'll be damned if I am going to play with a risk of ending up in a room with a whiny shit I would rather risk jail time for battery than listen to for a single second.
~Crap... gotta go. Don;t want to be late for my head shrinking.

First Timers?
Hey... Are you new here? Did you stop by to see who this bitch is who left the shitty comment on your blog? HA! Did I offend you? Tough shit... If you don't want an opposing point of view get off the fucking internet.... oh, and be sure to be a coward, and delete the comment I made. Especially to that zealot asshole who's blog defends the right of a religious sect to kill in the name of God. You're an asshole.
Did I leave any comment on your blog? Are you happy to see me? This is my little corner of the internet.. and I am glad you stopped by to see it.
In either case- your blog was either enough to royally piss me off, or deserve my attention in someway. Be happy. Or don't.
Yesterday was our 11th wedding anniversary. It has been 11 years since we ran off to the very cliche "Little White Chapel" of Las Vegas and got married in street clothes. No pretty gold rings, and hardly a penny to our names. The odds were against us making it. We spent the first months apart, in fact, by the time we were married for 5 years, we had spent more than half of it apart.
Here we are 11 years later, happy. A houseful of animals, kids and the trappings that go with married life. We still laugh, we still play, we drive each other crazy, and yes we still fight from time to time... We are facing life off day to day and most days, I think we are winning the battle.
When I am down and feeling like I can't take another second of stress or sadness, he steps up and is my strength and shield. When my heart is broken, he brings the glue, and when I get amazingly pissed off, he makes me laugh at myself and the situation. He accepts me for who I am, even though most of the time, who I am is a bitch... a funny, warm, and caring bitch, but a bitch nonetheless.
I wish yesterday could have been a better day- with the whole cat thing kinda put a damper on the making of much merry... getting through it is just another testament to this life we have.
I love you honey, and thanks for the last 11 years- I can't wait for the next ones.

Puke worthy
The other night, I made the most awesome southern fried chicken. When came time to sit down and eat, the chimp who would be president was on T.V. and it suddenly occurred to me how much I really dislike that man. Seriously started to lose my appetite just as I sat down.
Every time he opened his mouth, I wanted to throw a chicken bone at the screen. I have the same visceral reaction to a lot of politicians... Except this time it was far worse. Every channel I changed to had the same coverage of that liar, (because AFN thinks everyone must want to hear what he has to say), and I couldn't get away from it.
I am disgusted with politics, as a general rule, and usually refrain from comment on it... But this particular politician has made "We The People" look like a bunch of assholes to the international community on just about every issue he chooses to acknowledge or address publicly. Being that I have to live amongst the international community- I find that reprehensible.
I am counting the days until we can redeem ourselves as a people and throw his money grubbing, election stealing, crude oil lovin', environmental destroying, war monger ass out on his ear, and start writing the history books on the worst president and shittiest administration EVAH.

Kids Rights...?
In the past few months, my daughter has come home several times from school, in tears, because of a certain child in her class who has, in one way or another, hurt her feelings. This child is autistic. It has been explained to the class that this boy's brain is wired differently, and they are to treat him as special... Okay... Fine... Wait... What?
While I can understand wanting an autistic child to have the same shot at a normal education and have the same opportunities as "normal" children, at what point does it become okay for a special needs kid to interfere with the education for everyone else in the class?
Yesterday my daughter came home really torn up over the fact that this boy had taken a pair of scissors to the little bean plants she had been growing, and cut them down to stems. In the past he has freaked out in class, causing a scene. There have been the times that he has hit, kicked, broken stuff, and screamed.... and for Baby Girl to even think to mention it to me tells me that, in the very least, it was disruptive to the class as a whole. He has crumpled her school work, colored or written on her things, and now killed her plants that she was so excited about.
So at what point does it become okay for the school to put the needs of this one kid above the other children? I am not trying to be a massive bitch here, but seriously? How much understanding can the majority have about this kind of shit going on?
To basically tell the kids "You must tolerate his terrible behavior, even if he breaks your things, because he can't help it." is ridiculous. If he is bad enough off that the kids are supposed to accept and ignore his destructive and bad behavior then he doesn't belong in that class. He should be in a classroom with a teacher who has been specially trained to meet the needs of his disorder, and where his fits don't compromise the education, property, and sanity of everyone else. It sounds to me that they are treating him like Helen Keller when she would walk around the table and put her hands in everyone's plates... and they let her, ignoring her shitty behavior.
I was thinking of composing a letter to the teacher, but I think I lack the political correctness, nay the finesse, to put into words the mounting frustration I have with the situation. Somehow I don't think, "Keep that little bastard away from my daughter if he can't be taught to be at least civil.", doesn't sound so nice, nor something she might be receptive to.
Go ahead, flame away about my intolerance and ignorance, and whatnot. Tell me about the stats of 1 in 66, and blah, blah, blah. I agree that the teachers are not equipped to deal with the situation properly- especially the DoDEA system- but for fuck's sake, until they are, we can't just throw these kids into the random mix with everyone else and pray it all works out okay. The interim should be dealt with in the same way it has been until another system is in place; they should be pulled off with the kids who have special requirements and put with an educator equipped to deal with those problems. In the mean time, the educational system as a whole needs to be better prepared for these types of situations... a system put in place to make it easy and natural for all of the kids in the classroom, and to get what they came there for- an education.
Tossing them in the mix of a regular classroom is not beneficial to anyone. In the very least, the autistic kid will end up emotionally damaged from the social isolation of no one wanting to be his friend, because he is mean and destructive... and there is the fact of my kids being self-taught intolerance for people who are "wired differently" because of several bad experiences with them.
In the mean time I get to deal with a heartbroken little girl, because she doesn't understand why "wired differently" means mean, hateful spiteful little boy who breaks her shit, ruins her work and cuts up her little bean plants.

Spare the Rod....
Okay... I have so many problems with the whole idea of the government trying to regulate spanking. What the shit are people thinking letting a bunch of already nosey bastards into my private family affairs, but now to punish those who are trying to do right by their kids by calling in the government... Utter bullshit.
Now, I know I will get flamed for this (and by the way, fuck you, it's my blog), but I think the government needs to mind it's own fucking business... and so do those nosey fucktard people who see my parenting skills and thinking they are so much better than mine would call out the dogs on me. Yes, they are proponents of each side, to spank or not to spank... Seriously- it ain't their decision, now is it? If they don't think spanking is the right thing to do, or something they want in their homes... then they don't have to do it. To call the cops because I bend down in the store and get right in my kids face and tell them "Stop, NOW" and "That's enough!" in a firm tone, because they think I am verbally abusive... or sic the police on me because I grab my kid by the arm when he is tearing shit off shelves, and running thru the store like an idiot and lead him away? Fuck you, pal. Mind your own business. (Notice you get the same looks from people when your kid acts the ass and you do and say nothing?)
As a kid, I was spanked. Got my ass whooped on a few occasions, but never undeservingly so. I got chased down the hall by my mother wielding a brush... and once she broke a wooden spoon over my ass. Was I abused? No. I was punished. There were times there was just simply no other way to get shit through my thick skull than to smack it in. I am not a social deviant as a result. That is not to say that there weren't other methods they used- I got grounded and lost my allowance too- but the big rule breaking usually resulted in a whoopin'- and I knew it was coming- and I did it anyway, and I paid the price.
Spanking did not result in my fearing my parents. It did make me quite sure there was nothing I could get away with. It did not teach me "violence as a way of solving issues". It did not turn me into a hateful angry person. It did not cause me to become a gang member... it also did not make me think that every bad thing I do is excusable with a little time out or a gentle talking to. I know that if I fuck up in real life- bad things can happen. people could get hurt- I could get hurt.
The anti-spanking nazis who are trying to tell YOU what to do with YOUR kids come from a generation of Dr. Spock nice-nice parenting full of time outs and "understanding" your kids. IMHO it's bullshit. "No." is a complete sentence. There is no explanation needed, especially to a tantrum throwing 5 year old. Trying to reason with that? Fuck you- I'd rather talk to the lint in my pocket- as it isn't listening either. Think back to when you were a kid... did you actually listen to half the shit your parents said? Did you tune it out? Did it start to sound like Charlie Brown's teacher? Thought so.
I am no advocate of abuse or beating- kids with bruised up faces and broken bones... but the government thinks that "we the people" aren't capable of drawing the line and knowing the difference. A couple swats across the butt for trying to stick a key in a light socket is not abuse- trying to explain to a curious toddler why that is a "bad idea" is neglectful- as young kids, no matter what we try to tell ourselves, are not capable of certain kinds of understanding. What is more effective? "No, no, junior- the candle flame is hot. You can get hurt. That's fire." or a quick slap on the back of the hand and a firm "NO! HOT!" After that? Let the little tyke burn himself. He'll learn that not only is it hot- but you were right.
Spanking should be sparse, well deserved, and never done in anger. From the days of yesteryear to today- is society any better off for all this fluffy fu-fu shit parenting? I think not. It's worse. The world has raised a new crop of spoiled, prissy, get-everything-they-want, over-indulged assholes...complete with $400 dollar iPods on their belts sitting in brand new cars that daddy bought them, and sporting name brand clothes that aren't worth the ink the labels are printed on.
I would think twice about giving that sick shit no life having lady across the way another reason to call CPS on your neighbor.... Because that is who we would be asking to police the community. The nosey fucks with too much time on their hands and arrogant attitudes that they know better than you. Oh! I also think that Child Protective Departments are already letting too many kids fall through the cracks who are real victims of abuse and neglect- let us not clog up the system with penny and dime complaints that Mary Jane smacked her kid on the butt because he ran into the street... Let's save the efforts for the kids who are being raped, and starved, okay?
Old sayings, though trite, hold truth- and over many many years someone was wise enough back then to figure it out- spare the rod... and spoil the child.
from "Rocky Mountain Family Council"... While spanking is not illegal, bruising or otherwise injuring a child is. But what about mild spanking as a corrective measure? Is it a good idea? Spanking works best when coupled with other disciplinary measures, such as "time out." Research regarding behavior modification of children ages 2 to 6 found that spanking a child two times on either the rear or thigh helped improve compliance with "time out" for misbehavior. These children were more likely to remain in their room after acting up if a potential spank followed if they left before the time was up. Furthermore, pairing reasoning with a spanking in the toddler years delayed misbehavior longer than did either reasoning or spanking alone. Reasoning linked with a spank was also more effective compared with other discipline methods. Talking with the child about what behavior is expected and why-with the potential of a follow-up spank-worked best.
According to Physician magazine, spanking should be used selectively for clear, deliberate misbehavior, especially a child's persistent defiance of a parent. It should be used only when the child receives at least as much praise for good behavior as correction for problem behavior. Verbal correction, time out and logical consequences should be used initially, followed by spanking when noncompliance persists. Only a parent should administer a spanking, not another person. Spanking should never be administered on impulse or when a parent is out of control. Parents sometimes need a time out too. Spanking is inappropriate before 15 months of age, should be less necessary after 6 years, and rarely, if ever, used after 10 years of age. Spanking should always be administered in private. Appropriate spanking only leaves temporary redness of skin, and never bruises or injures. Spanking works, but must be used thoughtfully and carefully in conjunction with other disciplinary measures."

What's The Point?
I know I may come off as the world's biggest, coldest bitch here.... BUT...
Whilst flipping channels this morning, I stumbled across Oprah and Bono promoting an initiative called" Red". It sells everyday reasonably priced items and gives the proceeds to pay for AIDS treatment and HIV Anti-retroviral drugs in Africa. Now, I am all for treating the poor kids afflicted with this disease, those children orphaned by AIDS when their HIV+ parents died a wasting death, knowing that they are destined the same fate. I feel terrible for those human beings suffering with this disease daily, trying to live out what life they have as best as they are able.
I wonder how much, if any, of this money is going to educate the adults to stem the spread. Many of these kids may have been born HIV positive.... but it begs the question "Why?". Because the adults and parents, perhaps ignorant of the way AIDS is spread, keep carelessly and haphazardly fucking each other. A blood borne illness is spread pretty much one of two ways... Unprotected sex and IV Needles. Is the Oprah/Bono powerhouse paying for condoms, clean needles and educational materials? How about social workers, who when they carry the triple cocktails to these villages, also take with them a message to fucking stop it from spreading by not doing these things?
It's absofuckinglutely ridiculous to me to keep treating the illness and not stemming the well known and understood cause with education. If the people aren't taking the precaution seriously- then try harder. I heard at one time that certain parts of Africa are believed to be 35-40% HIV positive, and could be as high as 80% within a few years. How long until this uncontrolled spread makes it easy for the virus to mutate and become air-born? Then we will ALL be in a world of shit! As crass as it sounds... someone needs to get the message across to these people, from African cities to the smallest of villages to "STOP FUCKING.... It could kill you, and your family."

Hate Mongers... FUCK OFF AND DIE!

Since tomorrow is Thursday- but a holiday- I am posting my FOAD a little early, so you can get your fuck off fix, and then go enjoy your turkey.... as I will be cheeks deep tomorrow cooking, I won;t have time to post it then.
Fuck off and die to hate mongers and racists, and gay-bashers. Fuck off and die to the asshole bastards who are still pissing and moaning more than a century later about how "the man" is keeping them down. I think racism from anyone towards anyone is fucking stupid, stupid , stupid. What I find more deplorable is that if it is a white person being racist- he is not just plain ignorant- he is socially outcast... but any other race talking shit about caucasians? They are not labeled as haters, or looked down on by their peers.
This goes for any kind of discrimination based on superficial or social perceptions- from skin color, to religion, and sexual orientation. It has to fucking stop somewhere. Why hate a group on whole when you can come to hate so many people on an individual basis for a host of VALID reasons? So if you are a white supremacist, a gay basher, or an anti-muslim hate monger... FUCK OFF AND DIE. People like you should have their heads cut off and displayed on a pig pole in a public square.
Here is nice video from YOUtube showing how far hatred gets into peoples hearts.

Which First?
I so very rarely get into the politics thing, because as much as I like confrontation, I think there are far better things to start shit about than a bunch of self-serving asshats in Washington. So I will make this short and sweet.
Maybe I didn't pay that much attention before- but it seems to me that there are people who are being asked to run for President. Asked to run. The country seems to be behind people who haven't even announced their interest in the position, and I don't remember having seen anything quite like it before. For example, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton. THEY haven't put their hat in the ring- seems the country is trying to throw it in for them. Now, I am not trying to get behind one or the other- or anyone opposed to them for that matter. But a few years back, I don't remember seeing this kind of shit on the news about McCain or John Kerry. Did I miss it? Was there a clamboring of "We the people" asking these guys to please consider running?
It may be just my askew vision of the world- but it is like a portion of the country is saying, "Please, we need YOU. Save us!". I even saw people in OTHER nations on TV today saying that Obama is what America needs. The average citizen of the international community? Think the world is trying to tell us something about the current administration?
It also raises an interesting question in my mind. Given Hillary or Obama... which would we see in the white house first? A woman or a black man? Not who would do a better job, but with the general ideals of our twisted nation... A country who says women are equal, but doesn't treat them as equals, and who says men of all races and colors are equal- but doesn't live like it believes a single word of it.... Which do you think we will see first?
Discuss.

Politically Unfunny
Tom and Jerry are under attack.

How stupid... They are going to censor cartoons made in the 40's. I remember watching shit blow up on Tom's head when I was a kid, and he came back in black face. They don't show those cartoons anymore, as they offend the fine sensibilities of the politically correct. If they show those cartoons, those scenes are edited out. Example? The Fourth of July Tom and Jerry... I remember Tom stuck his head in in a teapot with a firecracker, and he brought his mangled head up looking like a daisy in black face. It was funny, and kids don't know what black face is... they just think it's funny shit. Ha-ha, yuck-yuck and all that fine shit. Black face is such an OLD insult that it doesn't mean anything anymore. It was from Vaudeville. Almost all gun references are now missing from MGM and WB cartoons... Did removing these from the classics result in fewer accidental gun deaths among children? Probably not... Parents using gun safes and educating their kids about guns would.
Now they are going to edit out smoking from the cartoons. So when Jerry is standing on the toy train tracks blindfolded waiting for his inevitable doom... that will now be a scene missing from the cartoon. What's next? No more bowling cartoons, so that kids don't hit each other with bowling balls in the head.... No more pool cartoons, so kids don't think it's okay to use pool cues like javelins?
Those cartoons are classics. They are untouchable, at least they were for the first 50 years that kids and adults got to enjoy them. I know kids need to be molded and taught right from wrong- but if Tom and Jerry are what old mom uses to teach moral responsibility in the first place- more than likely that kid is gonna be a smoker, or drug dealer.
This ain't Joe Camel- it's Tom and Jerry for Christ's sake. I can almost guarantee is was some religious zealot mother's and watchdog group with their panties wound too tightly who started this asinine crusade; maybe even the same group of asshats who tried to get Harry Potter books banned from schools because they promoted witchcraft. I wonder if these dickheads watched these cartoons as children and thought they were they were great fun then.
The article also states that Turner will be going thru Scooby, the Jetsons, and the Flintstones for said same content. SCOOBY-DOO? Although they never actually showed Shaggy smoking that bowl, we all know he is stoned off his ass. I know that NOW... didn't as a kid.
Don't you fucking people have anything better to do with your time and energy? Why not attack the crime problems, overcrowding in prisons, or health issues like AIDS or MDRTB. What a waste of resources, and of a great classic - being hacked to death by a P.C. generation. Maybe they will find a DVD market- like "Girls Gone Wild" where they can rate the looney toons R and sell them "Uncensored". I'd buy that!
(Here is a guide to how they have already hacked up classic cartoons in the age of Political correct bullshit.)

God In a Lab Coat?
The one issue that I have been passionate about since I was old enough to understand and care has been stem-cell research, since I was about 17 or 18 year old. That was in the early 90's when it first started showing promise of great things. It is also one of the first thing the first President I ever got to vote for did when he got into office did, was lift the ban on research and provide funding for the new science. That all changed when this pig-headed stubborn asshat Bush got into office.
Standing on some moral high ground, (the one that has the same scientific basis as "Intelligent design"), he is denying the scientific community in this country what it needs to move forward and save lives, and help put an end to so much human suffering. He does it because.... "It's wrong..."? What? It's wrong? I have heard the argument. "It's a life."
It's a clump of cells, hardly beyond the chemical reaction of X chromosomes being paired with Y chromosomes. Our scientists are wasting their time an money trying to find inventive ways to make more stem cells instead of using the one we can get and have for the diseases that need curing, and that is precisely what the administration had in mind when it started this tirade years ago. To stop the research in it's tracks... Bush and his religious zealot cronies have set the doctors back decades, and apparently, he is still at it.
Pretty sad when even the wife of a President who was once against stem cell research is begging Bush to reconsider his stance.
If God doesn't belong in our schools, and the government keeps Him out for us... How is it that the Government can let Him in... nay- run wild in our laboratories, where he most certainly not needed... as the scientists are the ones who kicked Him out in the first place.

Trimming the Fat in Oak Park
Nothing gets me more fired up than a bunch of tiny-minded, stupid men doing ignorant things. A suburb of Chicago has decided that fat women walking their "sexy" sidewalks are not the image they want, so they are getting an injunction against a Lane Bryant from opening in Oak Park, IL. You can read more about it here.
Apparently, sometime ago, the ladies on the view opened the door to this suburb being one of the One of the 5 sexiest in the country. That having been said, some tiny minded asshat got into office in this little community and now thinks that plus sized gals don't fit that image. Now, I am not going to stand up and say a woman with an oxygen tank and a walker who weighs as much as as a pick up truck is Cindy Crawford.... But for hell's sake...

THESE are considered plus sized women. Do they look unsexy? DO they look like human litter to the streets? Something that would contaminate even the most misogynist ideal of attractive?
I have seen some pretty fugly skinny women in my day. I am no skinny woman my damn self. I am very pretty, too. I have big tits, hips on the bottom, and a waist line in the middle. It is not what I wear on any given day, but a way I feel about me, and the way I carry myself that makes me attractive. I show off my cleavage and and waist line when I feel like it; some days I wear baggy jeans and a grimy sweat shirt. Doesn't really matter- it's an attitude, and it is the same attitude I had at size 8, as I have now at size 16, and when I was a size 24 two years ago.
All an action like this does is make the asshole who brings it look small and stupid, certainly not the women who would be customers. I wouldn't be surprised if all the women in that town lynch the bastard.
They have nothing to be ashamed of, but you, Mr. David Pope. You have some obviously askew ideas of what sexy and attractive is, and I doubt you would know what alluring was it if smacked you in junk, not matter what size it was wearing.

Modern day crusades
My husband is channel surfing trying to find something to lull his brain to sleep, and has settled on the news. I am horrified to hear Condi Rice spouting forth some of the the MOST ARROGANT SHIT I have ever heard in my life. "WE want a this kind of Middle east. WE have a vision of this in the Middle East. Our Allies (What... all two of them?) and We feel that this is the future of the middle east, and it scares them..." You may notice that since the escalation in Israel, there are few standing by our side. Everyone seem to want the killing in Lebanon to stop... everyone but the war mongers in the American White House. Our list of friends is suddenly very short.
I digress. Since when it idid become OUR Middle East to impose any of our anything on? What an arrogant attitude. Sure, it's a global community, and we can have an opinion, and I certainly think that we should stand up and say something about what is going on... so far what we have said is dead on balls WRONG (P.S.- Israel, Please stop bombing the shit out of your neighbors. You're scaring the world.)
But Getting on the news and just putting it out there that "we" have a vision for the next generation for that area of the world, and the will to impose it seems some how wrong, and a sure fire way to make sure my kids have a fresh supply of enemies at the gates when it comes their time. Thanks, ever so, you arrogant whore. I happen to be one of the "WE" you supposedly represent, and I sure didn't vote for you. (I didn't vote for that babbling chimp in the white house either, but a some people did. No one voted for you.) I don't much appreciate being clumped in with the likes of you and yours, so please, leave those kind of "WE" statements out of it. You ain't we.
It's people like you that put American lives in danger by doing nothing more than opening your silly stupid mouths and making people see us as overbearing pompous egotistical asses, who think we know what's best for everyone else,as if the rest of the world's populace needed to be tended like our children.
Even the Putin made fun of Bush today when he suggested that he model Russia's new democracy on the plan we gave Iraq. He Laughed at him in front of the Russian and world press, saying "I don't think so." Are we so assured that our way is the best way that we are going to go out and introduce it to the rest of the world no matter what they think? I am sure that Stalin and Hitler thought their ideas were a great idea too.
I love democracy, and I love my country.... I don't think it is a cause for a modern day crusade and it seems more and more that is what this administration is turning it into, and I for one have had enough. There are still a lot of people who look at the Stars and Stripes and see it as a symbols of freedom and liberation. There numbers are growing who see it as the hallmark of a bully. That is not what I want for my country. It's sure as hell not what I want my husband and his friends out there laying his ass on the line for. I really hope this can get turned around in some way- before we go from being the bully and joke we are now to something much worse.... A nation feared instead of respected.

Why They Hate Us
You wanna know why I think the world hates America?
Yesterday a building fell down in New York City... Attempted Suicide Murder. It got 4 or 5 hours of continuous coverage on the news. HOURS... of a building. This wasn't a frickon terrorist bombing here folks... it was a building fall down, go boom. Some depressed asshat who should have been better monitored by his shrink decided to try to kill himself and his ex by blowing up their NY mansion. boo-hoo-hoo.
Today... 7 Bombs were set off on commuter trains in Mumbai, India during morning rush hour. Many INNOCENT people are dead, many more are injured. (Kinda like the people in the WTC, except on another part of the planet). The whole world has it's eyes on India right now.... the whole world except America. America is talking about Bush's budget, Syd Barrett's death, the building in NY yesterday... oh, and they might happen to off-handedly mention the bombs in India.
Know why they don't care? Cause if it wasn't "Our Terrorists" that set those bombs off.. (Al Queda), it don't count in our war, and therefore, not good enough for our media to cover. American people as a whole are so very involved with what is going on in America, but we get our collective panties all in a wad when people call us isolationists, or ignorant. We are, generally, as a people. We go out and introduce our "way of life, liberty and freedom" to other parts of the world... and we know jack about squat about those other parts of the world, and frankly, we don't care to ask anyways. There are people out there dying. We don't know about it because our media doesn't tell us... they don't tell because we don't ask... nay demand to know. Not like we care anyways.
It really pisses me off. Makes me glad I have a British News feed... at least someone doesn't have their cameras so far up the administrations ass that they can see the rest of the globe, and the people in it.

Hackin'
There is no further explanation than this... my sub-domain got hacked yesterday. I don't know why- maybe just because they could... maybe some asshat hacker is a die-hard AAFES fan and didn't like my content, but in any case, they killed my forums. Never you fear. My husband, in his infinite wisdom, no doubt has the site backed up round here somewhere and he can replace it.
Speaking of the husband, he says I need to be be more political in order to generate more return readerage. I don't know. I think that some of you come here to get away from the Fox vs ABC stuff. So in that light, and to satisfy both sides of the argument I present Dropping Knowledge. It's political... and a side of politics and the world that main stream media and the the average person doesn't want to look at or think about.
Please take a second to take a look at it, and think about it. Here's my take on it... you can't just throw money at the problem. America tried that with welfare. We still have the impoverished lining the streets of every metropolitan area of the country. There are no easy answers.... But there have to be answers to be had- and the best solutions may yet com from the people out there who have lived it, and live in it and near it every day of their lives. Yes, there are those who are just looking for the hand out, but there are many more who would rather not, but have gotten so far down the hole of despair they see no way out. Post your questions to the site, read the information, and go back to see what other insights the people around the world have. We can make a difference. All it takes is giving a shit... Something the politicians and media stopped doing a long time ago.
